Make sure you have your pen and paper ready for this section, because you’ll fully dive into direct mail A – Z. From the list to the envelope, no stone is unturned in this video.

This training video starts off with Rod explaining how and why direct mail is the most successful way to find deals yourself, especially mom and pops. You’ll next learn the various reasons people may want to sell you their property, and you’ll get a good understanding of motivation.
After the basics are covered, Rod explains how and where you can purchase your list, and provides a list of respected list brokers. You’ll then learn why we believe you should build your own list, and how to do so. Rod first takes you through the sites that can aid you in the process, and then explains how to search specific property sizes on county assessor sites. You’ll also learn how and why getting around LLC’s and other corporations to find the true owner is one of the biggest keys to success in direct mail success.
After learning about how to build your list, Rod explains the type, formatting, and details of the letter you should use. You’ll learn a variety of letter headlines you can use, and then go through a sample letter template. Lastly, you’ll learn about the envelope, and how you can very inexpensively hire someone to handwrite them for you. Last but not least, Rod will explain why repetition and split testing is key to success in direct mail.
Lastly, Rod reviews how you may want to follow up those letters with cold calls. And if cold calls scare you, remember, if you’re willing to do what others wont you will be successful.
